Sarah Hudson is the director of advocacy at Gotham Whale, a research, education, and advocacy organization dedicated to the study and protection of humpback whales and all marine mammals in New York City Harbor and New York Bight. The GW team uses the latest reports from the water and peer reviewed publications, to support advocacy initiatives and to educate the public about New York’s whales, dolphins and seals.

While completing the honors program at New York Law School, Sarah interned at the NYC Mayor's Office of Environmental Remediation and Earth Law Center. She graduated from James Madison University with a B.S in economics and minors in mathematics and environmental science. Her law practice focuses on ocean issues and ecocentric policymaking.
